Renovation of cottage with two storey extension. The house will sit inside a sustainable landscaped orchard and bio mass garden. The original cottage is modernised and restored to its original format. The new two-storey extension is connected by a glass link. The extension is designed as an abstract form within the landscape with no visible windows to resemble a shed structure to protect the visual characteristics of the old cottage.
The extension is build as a timber frame building with straw bale infill and designed to be Zero Carbon.
